Stelac Capital Partners is a New York based private equity and late stage venture capital investment firm backed by a major European family. We specialize in providing capital to acquire, grow or recapitalize companies with operating profits between $1MM and $10MM. We will get involved in direct equity investments for buyouts, growth capital, founder share sale or recapitalization scenarios.

Unlike many private equity or venture capital firms, we do not need to seek an exit within 3 – 5 years of making an investment. Our unique financial backing allows us to hold businesses for the long run, if we should so desire. We truly seek to partner with management teams that can generate capital appreciation and dividends over a long period of time.

We seek to add value to our portfolio companies by providing financial and strategic support. While we rely on the management teams with whom we partner to run the day-to-day operations of the business, we are active, involved investors who seek to be a valuable resource to our portfolio companies. Our value-added comes in the form of:

• Board-level support - acting as a "sounding board" for strategic and operational initiatives;
• Targeted analytical support - leveraging Stelac’s principals operational and financial expertise; and,
• Access to our network of relationships, including those of our investors.

Our principals have significant operating and investing experience in business services, direct marketing, consumer and media investing and are able to bring this experience to bear in building value for our partner investors and the companies with whom we partner.
